I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, sketchbook doodler, photography enthusiast, passive aggressive gamer, and all-around nerd. I studied communication design at UNT after a brief stint at Baylor University. People usually ask what I learned from each institution — I like to tell them that Baylor taught me how to be moral and forthright by way of religion and UNT taught me how to be deceptive and manipulative in the name of art. In the end, both approaches proved to be quite useful in my profession.
I spend my daylight hours creating packaging design for the anime industry. For those of you that are new to the prolific world of Japanese animation (or anime as coined by the French); I can tell you that anime covers just about every genre, category, and subject matter there is. Basically, if you can imagine it, there’s probably an anime out there about it complete with harem schoolgirls. Trust me, it can get weird.
When I’m not kerning letters and bodybits back and forth, you can probably find me sketching away in a bookstore or spending my time online causing the usual mischief.
